This 100% silk 18th century jacket is a great choice for informal day wear. It is fully lined with linen, pieced in a historically accurate manner. It has a compere front with hand-covered buttons, and pinked,box pleated self-trim around the fronts and neckline. The back pleats are accented with additional covered buttons.
This garment is made to be worn with period undergarments, including a shift, stays, and petticoats (none of these are included.) Detailed measurements are given below. Please make sure to measure yourself carefully over all period undergarment and include wearing ease, as we do not accept returns because of fit.
